The very intense World Cup leg in obstacle heights of 160cm marked the ending of CHI Pärnu 2025 international equestrian festival yesterday at Maria Farm.  Only two pairs made it to the jump-offs in this intense competition class – Lithuanian athlete Matas Petraitis on horse Nicko P and Latvian Olympic athlete Kristaps Neretnieks on Quintair. Neretnieks and Quintair completed the jump-off course without any mistakes and took the victory of the class while Petraitis and Nicko P received 4 pp and a second place. Neretnieks had chosen his other horse –  ”Quintes” for the World cup standings, so the World Championships winning points went to Petraitis. Third place was ridden by Lithuanian athlete Andrius Petrovas on Qarath Van Paebrok Z and the best Estonian was Berit Lehtsaar on C Qastania taking seventh place.

Similarly to the main class on Sunday, the world ranking (Longines Ranking) points were also awarded on Friday, where the 145cm speed class turned into a duel between Latvian and Lithuanian Olympic athletes. The victory aswell as the third place were fought off to Lithuanian athlete Andrius Petrovas on Qarath Van Paebrok Z & Innocence while the second and fourth places were taken by Kristaps Neretnieks on horses Quintair and Quintes. Similarly to the World cup – the best Estonian rider was Berit Lehtsaar on horse C Qastania coming into sixth place.

In addition to the show jumping, a national and international eventing competition took place over the last weekend of CHI Pärnu 2025. The victory of international CCI2*-S level was taken by Estonian rider Sarah Marii Aarelo on Al Pacino, beating Maris Issak on Kürii K.

The equestrian festival CHI Pärnu 2025 has now come to an end but the event is planned on even larger scale next year.
